Things are quiet but safe in Koh Phangan... We party still, though smaller than usual without the tourists. Maybe a good thing since New Year's Eve is usually 50,000 people crammed onto the overfilled beach. But it will still be the best spot in the country to celebrate the new year!

After the community started a new night market in Haad Rin last week, with huge turnout and live music, the town is starting to come back to life, but needs some exposure! So I'm working with the townspeople to make a community New Year's Eve Party, in case the usual Full Moon New Years Countdown isn't officially launched.

I've been to several parties where the official Full Moon Party was canceled, but 10,000 people showed up, and the whole town partied as usual anyway - that's just what we do best!

Happy Pride Month! Nice to see this from the government here in Thailand!

Happy Pride Month 2020

As June is Pride Month, Thailand is celebrating the le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender,intersex, and q***r (LGBTIQ+) communities with global friends. With diversity and peacefulness, we are proud of everyone united in equality and love all around the country.

In a positive step on gender issues, public universities in Thailand, such as Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University, are allowing students to dress following their own chosen gender. The announcement includes attending classes and internships, taking examinations, and attending graduation ceremonies, as well as taking university ID photos. In addition, private sector companies -- for example, Sansiri, House Samyan, Beautrium, and Levi's -- are also joining the campaign promoting Pride Month to support diversity and love with no boundaries.
