This year feels extra special…
On January 1st, we opened our doors and started this beautiful journey here on Koh Phangan. What began as a dream has slowly come to life — with every guest, every sunset, every shared moment.

And now, celebrating Songkran here… the Thai New Year, a time of cleansing, renewal, and fresh beginnings — it feels like everything has come full circle.

We feel deeply grateful to be here, to build something from the heart, and to experience this magical time on this island.

Munchies Resort has been completely renovated and reborn as Sama Beach Resort — License Munchies Resort.

You’ll still find us in the same stunning location, directly on the beach, but now with a fresh new look, a relaxed boho style and a soft barefoot-bliss vibe. Think toes in the sand, ocean views, palm trees and pure peace.

Our resort remains small, charming and personal — a true hideaway surrounded by tropical green, yet still close to restaurants, shops and local facilities. The perfect blend of quiet and convenience.
