Big Blue was built in 2001 by the the same family that you will meet if you go there today. People come to Big Blue Bungalows in Haad Yuan to get away from the more chaotic areas, coming to relax and enjoy the quiet. It may not be the easiest place to get to but it is well worth the journey. Here you will find like-minded people - those with a curious and adventurous mind also looking for somethin

g different. Whilst the west coast has beautiful sunsets and shallow water, here on the east coast we have gorgeous sunrises and the best swimming on the island. Those that find us end up staying and we are proud to call them family. Big Blue has 3 types of fan bungalows, including Standard rooms near the beach or in the jungle, Seaview Jungle rooms and two VIP (2 bedroom) rooms. Haad Yuan is part of the tri-bay family of Why Nam, Haad Tien and Haad Yuan - all an easy walk from each other. There are 3 ways to arrive at this precious jewel on the south east of Koh Phangan:
1. Taxi boat from Hadrin (5 minutes)
2. Hike from Hadrin (about 90 minutes) following the sings to view point (VP) and Haad Yuan (HY).
3. Supply Boat from Koh Samui to Haad Tien (seasonal). Please note there are no ATMs or 7-11's on the tri-bay. To make enquiries or bookings please use messenger. Joe will do his best to reply as quickly as possible.
