Tembo Beach Club & Resort in Samui is an idyllic colonial-style resort located in the desirable area of Bangrak, on the prestigious Northeast coast of the island, just 10 minutes from Samui International Airport. Scheduled to open in August 2021, the resort promises to offer a laid-back modern atmosphere, friendly and personalized service, and unparalleled food and beverage experiences. Comprising of 10 private bungalow suites, 14-meter infinity pool, casual all-day-dining beach club and restaurant, elegant colonial theme bar, neighbourhood go-to deli, stylish events and meeting facilities, luxurious day spa, a fashion boutique and gift shop. Tembo Beach Club & Resort is designed for those who appreciate art, fashion, authentic food, music and chic surroundings; providing a distinguished range of experiences that will fill a missing niche in the Samui’s popular beach club and resort scene. The resort’s aim is to appeal to cool, young and young-at-heart individuals who love to have fun! Tembo Beach Club & Resort is perfect for beach weddings. ‘Bangrak’ literally translates as ‘Love Making’ thus making it the ideal destination for couples looking to tie the knot. The name ’Tembo’ translates as 'elephant’ in the Swahili language, reflecting not only the founders’ love for Africa, but also, and more importantly, their commitment to supporting elephant welfare in Southeast Asia.
