Baan Samui Resort’s name and purpose was inspired by the Thai word ‘Baan’, which means ‘Home’. First opened in 1993 the beach-front and colourful resort is still being managed by the same family. Throughout those years we have been a dependable refuge for a myriad of travellers. First they come as our guests, then they leave as our friends, and often they return as our family. In 2021 we underwent

a major renovation project that refurbished all of our rooms and upgraded of our service systems. Opened again in 2022, we are more than ready to welcome all travellers. We can’t wait to see you again!
