I swear it happens overnight… 😅

One day you’re just living your life—
minding your business, doing your thing…

and the next…

you’re relating to “old people jokes.” 😭

You catch yourself saying things like—

“Back in my day…” 👀

or

“They don’t make things like they used to…”

and suddenly… it hits you.

Wait a minute…

WHEN did I become the person I used to laugh at?? 😂

You start preferring staying home over going out 🛋️
You get excited about comfortable shoes 👟
You check the weather before leaving the house 🌦️

And don’t even get me started on noises…

You stand up—
your knees say hello 😩

You bend down—
your back files a complaint 💀

You sit too long—
everything needs a reboot 😅

But honestly…

it’s kind of funny when you think about it.

Because you didn’t “become old”…

you just kept living.

And somewhere along the way…

you traded chaos for peace…
noise for quiet…
and rushing… for appreciating the moment. 😌

So yeah…

maybe we’re the same age as “old people” now 😂

but at least we finally understand them. 💛

You can love me or you can hate me… either way, I’m still going to be me.
I’m not perfect. Not even close.
Some days I show up as the best version of myself… and other days? Not so much. But that’s the deal, right? That’s being human.
I’m learning, growing, messing up, figuring it out… just like everyone else on this ride. This is all temporary. So just live, and try to enjoy it.
I might not be digestible for everyone. The people who get me, get me. The ones who don’t… that’s okay too.
And even if you don’t approve of me, that doesn’t stop me from sending love and well wishes your way. Always. 💛
