We have now officially dropped the Homestay and gone through the process of being a licensed resort, so we updated our roadside sign too.

If you have not been to the Red Lotus Lake yet then you have not missed out yet, even though it is March and people think that the season only runs till February it is still beautiful out there.
We've just been out yesterday 9 March and look at those photos, still lots of flowers! We also visited the temple on the island in the middle of the lake.

The Red Lotus Lake has been busy lately, first of all because this time of year the lake is always at its most beautiful with the flowers blooming due to the cool winter weather, but now also because of the "Lisa Effect".
Lisa is probably Thailand's most famous person and holds multiple Guinness World Records including "Most followers on Instagram for a K-pop artist", currently exceeding 100 million.

We normally go out to the Red Lotus Lake early in the morning when the flowers are blooming, but this time we decided to go for a sunset cruise. No open flowers at this time of day but still a beautiful trip.
