There is no ATM or cash machine on Koh Lipe. The only way to get cash is a cash advance on your credit card at most big resorts and at the Koh Lipe Thailand Travel Shop in Walking Street. Most places charge 5% for this service. It's also possible to exchange foreign currency at the same places.

Wifi is available at some resorts, bars and restaurants, there are internet cafes and shops too. The service can be slow due to the fact that everything has to go via sate lite, Lipe Island is to far from the island to be connected to cable internet. If you want quick internet it is best to buy a local sim card and use their 3G service.
