🐮 A music festival does not survive for 16 years on fun alone. It grows by being willing to admit: “We made mistakes.”
From bringing nearly every genre of music together in Khao Yai to creating a new theme each year, turning P’Wua into the voice of the festival, and systematically measuring audience feedback—any category scoring below 8 is still considered unsuccessful and must be improved.
The story behind 16 years of Big Mountain Music Festival shows that a sustainable festival does not have to be perfect every year. It must, however, prove that its audience’s voice can genuinely shape what happens next.
This year, Big Mountain is changing the game again with a new venue at Farm Chokchai 3 and a new message: “Everything’s New.”
