We wish to send our sincere condolences to His Majesty The King and the Royal Family on the death of Her Royal Highness the Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.

The national flag shall be flown at half-mast for 15 days, starting from the date of the announcement by the Royal Household Bureau (24 October 2025).
All government officials, state enterprise employees, and public agencies are to observe mourning by wearing black attire for 30 days.
Private organizations and the general public are encouraged to dress in mourning attire as appropriate, to express their condolences and respect.

To show reverence and gratitude for His Majesty’s benevolence, the following activities should be suspended, particularly during the first 15 days after the announcement:

• Festive or entertainment events of all kinds, such as concerts, parties, and dances.
• Competitions or contests of a celebratory nature, such as singing, dancing, fashion shows, or entertainment-based sports.
• Entertainment-based marketing or promotional events, such as live music performances in malls, live shows, or playing loud music in public areas.
To be adjusted appropriately:
• Events that cannot be postponed, such as weddings or important official ceremonies, may proceed only with essential religious or formal components. Festive decorations, music, and celebratory elements should be omitted.
• Award ceremonies or academic conferences may be held but should begin with a moment of silence to pay respects, and the format should remain simple, solemn, and respectful.

Mass media and online platforms should adopt a subdued tone in all presentations and refrain from using cheerful visuals or sounds.
Television stations, websites, and social media platforms are encouraged to focus on news, documentaries, and commemorative programs honoring His Majesty.
Social media users are advised to refrain from posting inappropriate or festive content during the mourning period.

🕊️ 4. Expressions of Condolence by Organizations
Organizations and educational institutions may open books of condolence for the public to sign.
Individuals may wear a black ribbon or bow on the left side of their attire as a sign of mourning.
Public events, if held, should begin with one minute of silence, followed by an appropriate message of condolence.
