One of Phuket’s most distinctive cultural celebrations returns this October.

From 10–18 October 2026, the Phuket Vegetarian Festival will bring nine days of tradition, spirituality, and vibrant street celebrations to the island. Deeply rooted in Phuket’s Chinese heritage, the annual festival features colourful processions, ceremonies at Chinese shrines, and streets filled with vegetarian food.
