Phuket, Phang Na, Krabi and Surat Thani Provinces are enforcing "Shirtless Enforcement Zones".

This comes into effect today, so that it is in full force for Songkran.

Fines or warnings can be issued and is more severe the further away from the beach people are.

Fines are targeted at shirtless men and women walking around with only swimsuits on.

Enforcement Zones will be set up on main roads and near shopping centres

Shirtless scooter riders will also be targeted.
