On the penultimate Friday of every month we play our two person scramble at Burapha. With a prize fund of 30,000 baht it is the hottest ticket in golf in Pattaya.
We paid out the top four places and a lucky dip of non winners.
First place went to the Swedish duo of Eric Lundman and Mathias Wallström who shot an unbelievable score of 64 gross and a net score of 62. Second place we to Miss Ngamprom and Geoff Atherton who shot a gross score of 77 and a net score of 63. Nothing beats the feeling of your first win in golf and the exhilaration on the face of Miss Ngamprom when she found out was a sight to behold. Third place went to Will Poulton and Martyn Jefferies who shot a gross score of 71 and a net score of 64. With Martyn having to go home before 6pm it was left to the Canuck Will to stay out drinking. Fourth place went to Jeff Biglow and Lob Black who only lost out to the numb nuts on a countback. Good news for the girls of Pattaya due to Lob selling his motorbike and carrying the proceeds around with him last night. Of course we all got involved in a drinking session that lasted well into the night. Jayson Talla Camilo and friends provided the music for the night. The marriage wrecker Tim Shilling provided a shoulder to cry on for the broken hearted. We bade farewell to Kwong Cheung and Chris Christian Beardmore, have a safe journey home boys.
Just another day in paradise.

We initially had 48 golfers for Bangpakong on Wednesday but due to way too much drinking on St. Patrick's Day number was reduced to 32. I would like to thank Martyn Jefferies for providing the Irish whiskey which was probably the reason for so many hangovers today. We split the field today into two divisions and paid 3 places in each division.
Division one
Kwong Cheung is not used to playing in division one but today Kwong took the 🐂bull by the horns shooting 39 points off an 18 handicap to take first place. Chris Christian Beardmore also shot 39 points but unfortunately for Chris he was beaten on a countback. Third place went to Mike Sissney who for good measure also shot 39 points playing off a 13 handicap.
Division 2
With no sign of Vern Page when we were about to depart for Golf, Derek decided to send a fine filly up to his room and drag him down. Luckily for Vern this was the shock treatment he needed to play good golf as he shot 40 points off an 18 handicap. Second place went to Graham Wood who shot 38 points off a 20 handicap. Third place went to the best dressed golfer that we have, Toyo shot 35 points off a 19 handicap wrapping up the scoring for the day.
We only had one birdie on the par 3s today and that went to the popular DeHaven Hill taking all the twos pot for himself.
