Designed and built for long-stay guests wishing to enjoy tranquillity, peace, and a healthy, active sports environment, Taratai Villa is an intimate boutique resort located in Chonburi between Sri Racha and the quiet outskirts of Pattaya, an easy one-hour drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 90 minutes from the centre of Bangkok. Downtown Pattaya is a 10-minute drive and some of the area’s quieter beaches are within 10 to 15 minutes – with shuttle bus transfers provided on a regular basis.
Surrounded by the lush Thai countryside, quaint local villages and the country’s best golf courses, Taratai Villa is also a short distance from mountain bike trails, road biking routes, health clubs, Muay Thai training centres, spas, and a wide variety of water sport activities. A new cycling shop and cafe recently opened nearby, making this an ideal base for road and mountain bikers of all abilities - the bike shop and cafe is rapidly becoming a hub for local cycling groups, so you will always have someone to ride with.
Taratai Villa comprises 7 spacious low-rise 50 sqm self-catering one-bedroom suites with separate kitchenette, seating area and terrace, plus 3 hotel rooms within the main house and a central 25m lap pool. Water aerobics and yoga classes are frequently offered at the resort and guests can join in regular local cycling excursions, cycle and running races, training camps and triathlons.
Taratai Restaurant offers guests air conditioned or terrace dining with a focus on Thai cuisine and healthy nutritional choices. Simple, wholesome meals are prepared to order, with theme nights a regular feature. From weekend barbecues and Sunday brunch to cheese and wine or gourmet cuisine nights, there is always a great variety and plenty of choice.
