Life is about experiences. 🌿

Not how many things you own.

But the places that made you stop and look around.

The first time you floated down a river on a bamboo raft. The sound of a gibbon somewhere in the trees. The laughter when someone got soaked. The taste of something you'd never tried before.

It's waking up to the rainforest.

Meeting local people and hearing their stories.

Trying something new.

Getting muddy. Getting wet. Getting tired.

And coming back at the end of the day with that wonderful feeling that you've actually done something with your day.

We had a rather special visitor this morning… 🐘🌿

Meet P. Due, our resident wild elephant.

Every month or so, we're lucky enough to see P. Due passing through the area around Lost Horizon — always on his terms, always from a respectful distance, and always a pretty incredible sight.

There's something very different about seeing an elephant simply being an elephant.

No performance. No interaction.

Just a magnificent wild animal moving through the same landscape we are so fortunate to enjoy.

Moments like this remind us that we're visitors here too.

The rainforest belongs to them. We just get to share it for a while. 💚
