Nestled within the hills above Kamala, Keemala has always drawn its spirit from the land and sea that surround it. So when the call came to join hands with our local hotel community and the Kamala Police Station for a coastal cleanup, it felt less like an obligation and more like an extension of who we are.

Our team stepped beyond the treehouses and jungle canopy to walk the shoreline — collecting glass, waste, and debris alongside fellow hoteliers and law enforcement dedicated to protecting this coastline we all call home.

For us, sustainability isn't a seasonal initiative — it's woven into the way Keemala is built, run, and imagined. A cleaner Kamala Beach means a healthier ecosystem for the guests, wildlife, and community we're privileged to share it with.
