Pranburi Forest Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan is an area distinguished by its pristine and captivating forests, rich with a variety of plant and animal species. The forest comprises both deciduous and evergreen types, including mixed deciduous forest with dry evergreen forest, mangrove forest, and coastal forest.
Pranburi Forest Park is located within the Khlong Kao - Khlong Khoi National Reserved Forest in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, covering an area of approximately 1,984 rai. The Royal Forest Department declared it a forest park on September 30, 1982. The designation of this area as a forest park aims not only to promote eco-tourism but also to conserve the forest as a habitat for many rare and protected wildlife species.
These species include serows, wild deer, peafowls, and jungle fowls. These animals were released back into the wild by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, in 1989. They have since reproduced significantly and can now be commonly seen throughout the area.

วนอุทยานแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่ในเขตป่าสงวนแห่งชาติป่าคลองเก่า-คลองคอย อำเภอปราณบุรี มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 1,984 ไร่ โดยกรมป่าไม้ได้ประกาศจัดตั้งเป็นวนอุทยานเมื่อวันที่ 30 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2525 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักคือ เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศ และ เพื่ออนุรักษ์ผืนป่าให้เป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของสัตว์ป่าหายากและสัตว์ป่าคุ้มครอง
สัตว์ป่าในพื้นที่นี้ เช่น เลียงผา กวางป่า นกยูง และไก่ฟ้า เป็นสัตว์ที่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ทรงปล่อยคืนสู่ธรรมชาติเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2532 ซึ่งในปัจจุบันสัตว์เหล่านี้ได้ขยายพันธุ์ตามธรรมชาติจนสามารถพบเห็นได้ทั่วไปในพื้นที่
