Evason Hua Hin consolidates with Six Senses Hua Hin to enhance guest experiences and streamline bookings
Six Senses Home Office, Bangkok. – 18 March 2013:
The 185-room and pool villa Evason Hua Hin will be merged with the adjacent 55-pool villa Six Senses Hua Hin to form one seamless resort branded as Evason Hua Hin. Combining the best of both properties, the new Evason Hua Hin will offer 95 private pool villas, 145 guestrooms and 5 outlets for dining and drinks.
The Evason brand has been selected for the combined resort as it addresses the close proximity to Bangkok, which provides a significant family market that enjoys the privacy of pool villas and the vast parklands, which boast eight tennis courts and a host of on-site activities.
Owendelle Company Limited which manages the merged entity under the Evason and Six Senses franchise have entered into the licence agreement with Sustainable Luxury Thailand, owner of the Evason and Six Senses brands.
Twenty million Thai Baht will be invested in the combined property this year to enhance facilities, which include WiFi upgrading, new televisions and a gym. There will also be an overall refreshment of the resort and guestrooms.
“This is a very positive step forward”, says Alan Thomas, managing Director of Evason Hua Hin. “Streamlining the offering to consumers and trade will remove some confusion that has existed in the past. Presenting the property as one entity will mean that we have one Web site offering eight room and villa types, rather than two sites offering four accommodation types on each”.
President of Six Senses, Bernhard Bohnenberger, said “We are delighted with the move, which will enable Evason Hua Hin to incorporate the Six Senses standards and guest experiences into a simplified offering. Evason Hua Hin now has comprehensive accommodation choices from the Hideaway Pool Villas, which offer personal butlers, to the very spacious and beautifully appointed Evason guestrooms”.
With this new agreement in place, Evason Hua Hin continues its special relationship with Six Senses. The property has been part of the Six Senses and Evason Family for over a decade. As an Evason-branded property, it joins the ranks of other much-awarded Evason properties: Evason Ma’In Hot Springs in Jordan and Evason Ana Mandara in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
