Koh Mak will have a new ecofriendly activity for all guests and locals - guided walks and tours with Himalayan horses.
After nearly 3 years of research, talks with many professionals and organizing everything, they arrived well on the island. Many thanks goes to Boris, who run a horse trekking farm for about 20 years, for his professional support and advice.
Our horses are from northern Thailand and familiar staying outside, as they worked for a farm before and used to carry up to 100 kg. Norbert went to their home to pick them up together with Boris and his daughter Nora.
At the moment they stay on our land, but will be on different places arround Koh Mak. Several landlords are delighted about this asset to the island, to support us and are happy to make their land available for the horses to graze.
Finally Norbert's idea and dream came true.
