Our guests’ favorite way to get around?

Every day, our guests jump into a kayak and paddle their way to beautiful Bang Bao Bay to enjoy a cocktail by the sea, explore the coastline, and soak in the tropical vibes.
And honestly… there’s probably no better seat on the island to enjoy the sunset than from a kayak floating on the water ☀️

Whether it’s for a morning paddle, a sunset ride, or just to discover hidden little corners around the bay, kayaking has become part of the experience here! Slow life, sunsets, and cocktails waiting on the other side… what else do you need?🌴 🛶

We had such an amazing time celebrating Songkran right in front of the house, full-on water fights, buckets flying everywhere, and lots of laughter all around! 😄

Thailand and Cambodia signed a joint statement at the GBC meeting in Chanthaburi, agreeing to a ceasefire under the Kuala Lumpur arrangement, with Cambodia accepting a 72-hour pause linked to the handover of 18 Cambodian prisoners of war, as ASEAN observers monitored.

Defence Minister Gen Natthaphon Narkphanit on Saturday (December 27, 2025) attended a meeting of the Thai-Cambodian General Border Committee (GBC) at the Ban Phakkad border checkpoint in Pong Nam Ron district, Chanthaburi province.

The Thai delegation was led by Gen Nuttapong Praokaew, Deputy Chief of Staff and GBC secretary, while Cambodia’s delegation was led by Gen Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence. The meeting lasted around 30 minutes.

Following the talks, the two sides signed a joint statement setting out an agreement on a ceasefire and related cooperation under the Kuala Lumpur agreement reached on October 26, 2025.

The statement also reflected a proposal accepted by Cambodia to observe a 72-hour ceasefire, in return for Thailand handing over 18 Cambodian soldiers held as prisoners of war, as discussed at the secretary-level talks.

An ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) led by Brig Gen Samsul Rizal bin Musa, Malaysia’s Assistant Defence Attaché to Thailand and head of the observer mission in Thailand, monitored the meeting.

Over the past weeks, we have faced several cancellations due the concerns surrounding the conflict in the region.
We fully understand the worries and uncertainties this has created for many travelers.
At the same time, it is important for us to share the reality of daily life here on Koh Kood, an island considered totally safe by Thai authorities, together with Koh Mak and Koh Chang.

Here, life has remained calm, safe, and unchanged.
The island continues to live at its own peaceful rhythm: shops are open, boats are running, and people go about their daily lives as usual. This Christmas evening spent together perfectly reflects that reality.

Gathered around a BBQ, sharing stories, laughter, and meaningful moments, we celebrated Christmas in the simplest and most genuine way... like one big family!

A heartfelt thank you to our guests for choosing to be here with us and also for trusting us during this time ❤️
Your presence means so much to us, more than ever, and sharing this Christmas together is something we will truly remember.
