The United Kingdom has lifted its travel advisory against non-essential travel to Trat, sparking optimism among local tourism operators ahead of the peak season.

Hotel occupancy in the province is expected to reach 80–90% from November through March, driven mainly by European visitors. Popular islands such as Koh Chang, Koh K*t, and Koh Mak remain unaffected by recent border tensions.

While European markets are rebounding, arrivals from China and Russia have declined. Tourism leaders are urging the government to rethink subsidy programmes to better align with changing travel trends, as more locals now prefer independent travel over group tours.

🌴 Exciting News from Koh Kood! 🌴

We’re happy to announce that we’ve officially restored our original name — Janzo House is back! ✨

As the rainy season rolls in, we’re taking the opportunity to renovate, improve, and beautify the resort in preparation for the upcoming 2025–2026 season.

🌧️🌿 We've replaced the synthetic grass around the pool — which couldn’t withstand the tropical climate and was causing issues with the pump — with elegant slip-resistant marble-effect tiles. We can’t wait to see the final look once the crystal-clear water returns and the surrounding area is fully styled.

🛏️ In the dormitory, we’ve also installed new steel bed frames to offer greater stability and durability for our guests.

🧹🎨 The entire space is being cleaned, repainted, and refreshed to make Janzo House as welcoming and cozy as ever. In the coming weeks, we’ll also be carrying out electrical upgrades and working on septic systems to ensure everything is fully up to standard.

🐈 Oh and yeah, we do have new furry friends😻
