We are proud to announce that we have received this year's Blue Flag for our hotel beach!

What is the Blue Flag?

The Blue Flag is an international environmental award given to beaches and marinas that meet environmental standards. It symbolizes a clean, well-maintained, well-equipped, and safe environment, as well as a sustainable and modern living space for every one.

For beaches, the Blue Flag award includes criteria such as clean seawater, environmental education, information, and advanced environmental management; while for marinas, sea water analysis is not required, similar environmental requirements are sought.

The Blue Flag is also of great importance for tourism due to its international guarantee. Vacationers, preferring safe and familiar beaches, can easily plan their holidays by choosing areas with Blue Flag status. Therefore, the Blue Flag program is a strong environmental symbol supporting tourism.

The Blue Flag Program is implemented in 51 countries worldwide, with 30 countries participating in Europe. Coordinated by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), the program's implementer in Turkey is the Turkish Environmental Education Foundation (TÜRÇEV).
