The 9th Antalya Akra Jazz Festival Begins in June
Preparing once again to bring together leading names in jazz and world music with art lovers, Akra Jazz Festival will take place between June 5–20, 2026 on the open-air stage of Akra Antalya, accompanied by the enchanting view of the Mediterranean and the Bey Mountains.
Organized by Akra Hotels and adding sustainable value to Antalya’s urban culture, the Akra Jazz Festival will host four Grammy Award-winning artists in its ninth year. In addition to impressive performances blending contemporary jazz with the rich texture of funk, rock, Latin, soul, pop, and world music, the festival will also feature jam sessions, talks, and masterclass sessions.
On June 5, Kenan Doğulu will open the festival with “İhtimaller”, his pop-jazz project prepared together with distinguished jazz musicians from Türkiye.
The festival will continue with world-renowned saxophonist and Russia’s jazz ambassador Igor Butman, the Moscow Jazz Orchestra, and Russian singer, composer, and songwriter Sergey Mazayev on June 6; the queen of jazz and 5-time Grammy Award winner Dianne Reeves on June 10; Grammy and BRIT Award-winning world-famous soul and R&B artist Joss Stone on June 12; Grammy Award-winning saxophone master and jazz legend Kenny Garrett with his “Sounds From The Ancestors” project on June 13; “Richard Bona & Alfredo Rodriguez Trio,” featuring world-renowned names of Afro-Cuban and Latin jazz — Grammy Award-winning bassist and vocalist Richard Bona, pianist and vocalist Alfredo Rodriguez, and percussionist Michael Olivera — on June 17; and “Akra Young Jazz” on June 18, where SU Trio, Leviers, and Mojo 5 will take the stage.
The festival will close on June 19 and 20 with a special repertoire of songs and jazz arrangements by world-renowned pianist and composer Fazıl Say. In these concerts, Fazıl Say will be accompanied by Aslıhan And Say on flute, Seda Kırankaya on vocals, and Aykut Köselerli on percussion.
