Haleplibahçe Mozaik Müzesi, mitolojide ismi geçen kadın savaşçı Amazonların tasvir edildiği tek mozaiğe de ev sahipliği yapılıyor. Mozaikler, Amazon kadınlarının av sahnelerini, bazı hayvanları ve kişileri tasfir etmektedir. Savaşçı Amazon Kraliçelerinin anlatıldığı mozaikler, dünyanın ilk örnekleri''nden kabul edimektedir. Mozaik tekniğiden, sanatından ve 4 milimetre kare ebatında Fırat Nehri'nin orijinal taşlarından yapılmasıdan ve benzeri özelliklerinden dolayı uzmanlarca dünyanın en kıymetli mozaiği olarak tanımlamaktadır.The area where the mosaics are located was built to include Roman villas.
