I wanted to thank you for the hospitality afforded us by yourselves and Ismail during our stay at your wonderful home in such a magnificent setting.

I have never been so delighted and happy as I was with the style and ambience of what is essentially a human retreat, you have indeed created a magical place and obviously considered many things during its construction, we will be back!

Our overall experience with this house was really amazing. The village of Eski Doğanbey is magical and while walking around the streets, one can easily lose the sense of time and space. The house and its garden are much larger than they look in the pictures which was a very big plus for us as we (four adults) could enjoy the house without the feeling of narrowness. You should definitely have a car to reach the village as i guess it would be quite difficult to reach there with public transportation. Two of the 12 Ancient Ionian cities are very near and the village is officially located in the Natural Park. We have visited both cities and walked the 10 km hiking route inside the natural park which provided us amazing scenery along the path.If you need a little bit of isolation and interested in ancient Greek history and an untouched nature, then this is your place. Hüseyin and Ismail were good hosts and they were accessible whenever we needed something.

Our two-story house is available for short and long stays. It is romantic, comfortable and spacious, decorated in traditional style. We offer a peaceful and serene environment in a village where time seems to have stopped.

Domaça House is located in the beautiful preserved ancient greek village of Eski Doganbey, formerly called Domatia. It is situated just within the boundaries of the Dilek National Park, in the agean region in the county of Aydın. The old little village lies at the skirts of the Nikale mountains and overlooks the Agean Sea, offering a breathtaking scenary.

The village is close to many atractions from trekking to bird watching. It is conveniently close to many archeological sites and turistic areas, such as Priene, Miletos, Didima, Ephesus, Virgin Mary's house among others.

Doganbey is a peaceful and serene place far away from crowds and typical holiday resorts. It is ideal for those who like to be in contact with nature and enjoy exploring new travel alternatives.
