All citizens and Residents above the age group of 70have already received their 1st vaccination now onto the next group.

Turkey will start administering the coronavirus vaccine on people aged 65 and above on Friday, the nation's health minister said.

"The vaccination for our citizens over the age of 65 begins tomorrow morning. The spouses of our citizens over the age of 65 can also be vaccinated if they are over the age of 60," Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.

The second dose of the vaccine is administered 28 days apart and those who recovered from COVID-19 will not be vaccinated in four to six months following their recovery.

The vaccination group order is available on the Ministry of Health website at the link below. Each group on the table is highlighted in green as the vaccination rollout reached them.

Exciting news - Ian and I are delighted to share that we are the proud new owners of a delightful, spacious 3 bed apartment in Üzümlü with spectacular views over the village, which will become available for rent for the 2021 season.

For those looking for something a little different from the hustle and bustle of Hisarönü, Üzümlü is a quaint Turkish village with a vibrant feel. A selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and local shops host a foot-fall of local Turkish neighbours, Expat community and holiday makers.

Nestled with the backdrop of the Tourus Mountains, Üzümlü is about 15km from Fethiye and Çalıs Beach, wıth a regular bus service for those that don't feel the need to hıre a car and explore or just to stay at home and enjoy the village.

Esra is fully booked between 5th May to Mid October 21 so for those wishing to still get in their holidays with the same care and service that we offer, this may be of interest.

Morning. there is lots of speculation about Turkey in the Tabloids and the prospect of another lockdown. Whilst we are all hoping for the the day when the numbers rapidly decline to 0 on a daily basis. it import to view the numbers with a clear perspective. Numbers have risen but then so have the numbers of test. From early august the testing has been stepped up from mid 40,000 to some days over 70000. More tests = finding more positive cases. This chart shows the percentage of change on a daily basis of tests verses new cases, and the percentage is actually down not up!
