The first of August! There are still guests we haven’t said hello too yet, people we haven’t met at all this year and people to whom we have already said see you next year 😉
The weather has turned hot hot 🥵 normal for August i know, the hottest month we will experience now. The gardens turn a bit tired from all the heat but there are still so many really strong colors to be found all around in Icmeler, nature here has adapted and thankfully we can water our gardens regularly. The pool is gorgeous and sparkly just waiting for you to jump in and cool off, the beer is ice cold and the cocktails are just waiting to be mixed and served. So pack your suitcase and come!!!!! We are ready. Looking forward to seeing you, meeting you and serving you. Today is a good day to have a good day. Love the lighthouse family ❤️

July! I am late 🤣🤣, well the heat is here. Have you packed your bikini? Your bag? Ready to have fun?? Then let’s start! Maybe you are already here or you are still counting those days. Soon it we’ll be your turn. Toned to just lay on a sunbed and dive into a brilliant book. Swim in the really warm sea to your hearts desire. Chill on the balcony before dinner with a drink in your hand and no pressing agenda, nothing else to do than relax. Sounds like heaven to me 😉 wishing you all a wonderful July, fill your tanks and go home refreshed . Ready to tackle normal life again until the next holiday. Take care, stay safe ❤️

Back on the ferry to Marmaris, it felt like a weeks holiday!!!! Rhodes was full!!!! And hot but not as hot as Symi! But there are so many lovely shops, they have a vision there, it’s a lovely day trip as well! The Aperol spritzes made our days!!!! 😂 now in the evening back to work for süleyman for me? Washing 😂😂

As you probably will realize we are on a one day escape 🙈 we took the ferry ⛴️ to Rhodes this morning and then ran and i mean ran!! to catch the morning ferry ⛴️ to Symi. We managed even though süleyman was lagging behind and showing signs of exhaustion 😂 it was and is soooooo hot! We sat upstairs in a nice breeze and arrived in Symi after 1 hour 20 minutes. Ah how lovely!!!!! Three times we crossed a blooming bridge because the map showed the wrong hotel. We were drenched in sweat and getting hangrier by the minute. Finally we found it and it was lovely and clean and cool. Chilled for half an hour and cooled down and then went to explore. Nice lunch ands then gelato to die for!!! Bought some presents and then we needed a drink. All the visitor have left the island and the restaurants are having a siesta right now. Shopped for water, now rest and then shower and out for a a nice dinner. Tomorrow morning the early ferry back and then 3 hours left in Rhodes until we will come back. Life is short! Let’s escape every so often!!!!
