Here is our comment on your Appartment:

We had a beautiful week in Istanbul and at Mr. Filius Maisonette-Appartment – Çok Güzel! It’s well-appointed (air con, heater, hairdryer, WLAN, electric kettle, cooktop, TV, hot water in the shower almost instantly) with lovely details.
You have a great view from the (roof)top balcony down the street canyon right to the Bosporus and the Princess Islands.
Nevertheless you should be aware that this is 100% Istanbul and your deep inside Beyoğlu. Quite central in Yeni Carsi Cad. (15 min. walk to Taksim, 15 min. walk to Karaköy harbor), which is a bustling street - starts lazy in the morning, gets awake at day and cuts loose at night. And even though it’s well soundproof, it’s not like in Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence”. But it wasn’t a problem for us. When you fall into the mood and flow of this Malhalle, you wake up at 10 and enjoy your breakfast on the top balcony between 11 and 12, while the sun is heating up your awakening. Then you know you are right here.
10 minutes to 12 (the eleventh hour) in Beyoğlu, the c**k crows as a start: Kükürüküüü…
The day ends with Yürü Gürültülü. Şakamaka – Keyif Etmek!
The Manager Mr. Filius Ömer Elvan is very gentle and helpful. As much obliging as low key - just smooth and how you want it to be. Thank you Ömer!

The location was great, really great. The host was helpful but His English might be difficult to get along with. He did his best to help with my requests. Clean apartment, stairs might be problematic for elderly. It is.opposite of a club but noise-wise it was not too bad. The terraces are amazing. Altogether the apartment has the loads of charm and I recommend it to singles or/and couples looking for a place in the heart of Istanbul.
