Our house in Kabapinar is renovated from an old stone and wood farm house in a gorgeous abandoned village 25 minutes up the mountain from Kas, a popular seaside tourist town. It is a uniquely magical place, completely secluded and enveloped in nature. Although it is not far from the sea, it does not have a seaside feel, but a rustic forest and farmland feel. The house itself is very charming: as m
uch of the original structure and facial details as possible were preserved making the house very much like a story book cottage. Two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other two singles) plus a large, full bathroom are upstairs. Downstairs is a small country kitchen / dining room plus an adjacent TV room with comfortable chairs and couch that opens into another double bed. There is also an additional WC downstairs. All windows are equipped with fly screens to keep critters out (in the middle of nature this is important) and there is a wood burning stove for colder nights. There is hot water, Satalite TV with plenty of channels in English and Turkish, and a DVD player. Horse riding can be provided on request for a reasonable price. Rates are between 300 and 450 UK pounds per week, depending upon the month of stay.
