The Tripadvisor review of Sajidha on Villa Light of Apollon:

"This was our first holiday in Turkey and an absolutely priority was striking a balance between privacy while lounging and swimming and not being completely isolated from civilisation. Apollon Villa did exactly this. To the front of the villa you have a traditional Turkish quiet outer town area with small farm animals roaming happily and to the rear of the villa you have seclusion and views that are simply put...breath taking. The views of the mountains are 180 degrees and awe inspiring. To wake up in the morning and be greeted by beautiful mountains, vineyards and greenery is pure luxury.

The villa itself is beautifully and tastefully furnished and finished. 5 en suite bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and all mod cons (minus a an oven- but the microwave is a combi). The lounge area was comfortable as was the outer dining and lounge area. I would recommend early evening meals outside to avoid being joined by an army of flies wanting to feast on your meal.

The personal touch with the Villa was a highlight. We were greeted by the Villa caretaker Arif who took care of pool maintenance and starting up the hot tub for us the first time. The people in Turkey are absolutely lovely. Despite being on three levels, the villa is very child child friendly. The baby pool is a fantastic addition as are the two cots the villa houses.

Our friends and family were surprised we spent so little time away from the Villa. We had little reason to leave except for the odd meal out and stocking up on supplies. Even the lovely local beach was not enough to coax us away for more than a day. The Villa has many fond and happy memories for us and we hope to visit again soon- hopefully for longer next time as one week was not enough!

"This is a fantastic modern house in a really good location. It is out of the way of the hussle and bussle but close enough to walk into town if desired (just a 20 mins walk).

The outdoor space is incredible and really is the selling point for us. The pool is clean, spacious and a lot of fun. There is a large covered verandah area which is perfect for socialising and having meals.

The pond is an amazing mini eco-system with several terrapins, frogs and fish that will nibble your feet!

The location is idealic with a mountainous view and is very quiet. It generally feels quite safe and peaceful.

The villa itself is really clean, very modern and fairly minimalist in style. Every room is ensuite and air conditioned.

The check in experience could have been smoother, as we had hoped to meet someone at the villa, but after a phone call someone arrived to let us in after about 10 minutes.

There is a group of neighbourhood dogs that live outside and one in particular who seems to look after the house. They're all adorable, well behaved and good company. (They love dog treats from the supermarket too!)

Morat is a brilliant host who was very attentive to our needs. He arranged a gorgeous boat trip along the Dalyan river. We highly recommend a boat trip. You'll visit a beautiful beach, hot springs, lovely coves, ancient ruins of Kaunos, and eat some amazing crab. Set aside a full day to do this. We paid 550 lira for a the whole boat for the whole day which including a delicious BBQ (Drinks were extra).

We also recommend a visit to the Radar station which is about a 20 minute drive away for some stunning views of the entire valley. You don't need to pay for a trip to do this if you have your own vehicle, but we wouldn't recommend driving right to the very top.

Overall this is a great modern villa which is absolutely perfect for a large group holiday or families."

Located in a peaceful area in Dalyan, Light of Apollon has a garden surrounded by high mountains, includes an outdoor pool and a kids' pool. It comes with floor-to-ceiling windows providing to see the whole views of the stunning nature. On the rooftop terrace, there is a hot tub.

"Amazing! We travelled to Dalyan with our little one year-old boy and stayed at Light of Apollon. What a wonderful place this is. The villa is very modern and spacious. It has big windows all around so it lets the light shine through and it is just lovely. The outside area is great with a nice swimming pool looking at the mountains. It is a superb view. But one of the best things about this villa is the privacy it gives you."
