When I saw the aggressive article, along with various media inquiries confirming if it was related to our park, (it's not by the way), I felt a mix of emotions. We all know that once bitten by a snake, one fears even a rope for ten years. How could we bear to have anyone dislike capybaras? The transition from love to fear in a victim's mindset must be incredibly painful. However, we also believe that the capybara involved is equally saddened and pays the price with a permanent mark and restrictions. We've all heard that in many animal exhibition spaces around the world, when animals pose a threat or are involved in accidents, their fate is often euthanasia, on-site shooting, or lifelong confinement 🚫.
So, this isn't about arguing right or wrong, but rather about reintroducing the capybara to everyone in a simple way
The intention of this post is not to critique right or wrong as mentioned previously, but to objectively consider the reasons behind the conflicts between animals and humans. Please do not make irresponsible remarks or accusations due to a lack of understanding. Respect that each life is a unique individual with its own personality. We can empathize with the victim's pain because we share a common language, so please don't hate "it"!
Capybara: The world's largest rodent, primarily found in South America, Peru, and Uruguay. Online and on various animal platforms, it is often described as the "social butterfly" of the animal kingdom, giving the impression of being cute, adorable, and peaceful. In recent years, they have become popular in Japan, combining their clumsy appearance and love for water with hot springs♨️, making them instantly famous and one of the most popular animals worldwide. However, capybaras have strong family and territorial instincts and can be very aggressive towards their own kind. They require very large activity spaces, and in successful breeding facilities abroad, the ratio is 80 ping (about 2846.65 square feet) per capybara. Their physical structure includes eyes on the sides of their heads, like horses, so if their hay is not controlled for length during feeding, accidental bites can occur. As the largest rodent, their powerful weapon is their teeth, which grow continuously and must be worn down to prevent overgrowth, which can affect eating and even threaten their lives. Despite their large size, they are excellent runners and swimmers. Each capybara has its own personality, and a happy capybara loves socializing. During interactions in the park, you can often hear them vocalizing. Mate selection is done by female capybaras, and once chosen, they will deeply love and stay with their partner for life!
