新竹市動物保護及防疫所位於南寮海濱路上，長?

新竹市動物保護及防疫所送養動物程序
1.動保所安排申請人上飼主責任及如何照顧動物課程，及動保所志工安排申請人學習如何與動物相處，完成課程後申請人先回家。
2.上課時間為週一至週五(遇國定假日暫停)分別為兩時段：第一時段：上午10點至12點，第二時段：下午2點至4點，週六：上午10點至12點(僅一時段，開放時間為10：00~12：00，遇國定假日暫停)。
3.動保所同仁確認申請人目前飼養動物數量及進行評估是否適合認養，再由動保所通知適合認養者至動保園區領養動物。
4.送養後，動保所電話訪問飼主及動物生活狀況。
5.送養後，動保所抽樣進行實地訪視飼主及動物生活狀況。
