It was a special treat to see the beautiful blossoms of the Phoenix (Flamboyant Tree) this morning. The fern-like leaves displayed their orange flowers across the roads of Promisedland.
In Taiwan, Phoenix flowers bloom between June and July, at the same time as graduation season. This year, the flowers have bloomed early. Perhaps graduation has more challenges during Covid-19?

The Moorish maid stands in our lobby, holding a tray of flowers, fruits or seeds, all grown on the resort. The sculpture symbolizes a warm welcome, as each of our guests arrive.
