2009年從美濃自家老宅，開始了屬於菸城的故事，由二代接手的主人YoYo，替老宅賦予了新生命，從設計到經營，親手打造「菸城民宿」的品牌，更是希望作為青年回鄉的領頭羊，讓大家看到「家」的美好。全區約四分地，戶外600坪庭院草皮可供大小朋友遊憩玩耍、婚禮和其他活動；是美濃現代化裝潢的特色民宿。
『菸城民宿』位於高雄的客家鄉村美濃，鄰近旗山、內門、甲仙、杉林、六龜、茂林、桃源、那瑪夏、屏東里港、屏東高樹，地理位置非常便捷。
