Ema和Carlos一進到百吉家看到大廳裡的大提琴，便問那是否是我的琴，Ema說她和Carlos都是音樂家，她吹長笛、Carlos吹薩克斯風。
我指著他們行李中的一個樂器箱，問Carlos那是否是他的薩克斯風，於是他打開樂器箱，拿出他的兩把閃亮亮的薩克斯風讓我看，我好奇地問他是否旅行時都會帶著樂器，才知道他們這趟台灣行是因為Carlos在台北的國家音樂廳有一場音樂會演出。
Carlos知道我也喜歡古典音樂，便從行李中拿出他的CD送我，這是我收到最酷的伴手禮了。Ema說她在柏林國立歌劇院(State Opera Berlin/Staatsoper Unter den Linden)工作，可惜我去柏林之前不認識她，不然就有機會可以去歌劇院看他們演出的歌劇。
雖然這幾天南部大雨，但他們今天還是依照計畫前往小琉球。希望他們的小琉球之行平安順利。
Ema and Carlos asked about the cello in the lobby as soon as they arrived at CHEZ POKY, wondering if it was mine. Ema told me that she and Carlos are both musicians. She plays the flute, while Carlos plays the saxophone.
I pointed to one of the instrument cases among their luggage and asked Carlos if it was his saxophone. He opened the case and took out his two shiny saxophones to show me. I was curious and asked if he always travels with his instruments. That was when I learned that the reason for their trip to Taiwan was because Carlos had a concert at the National Concert Hall in Taipei.
Carlos knew that I also enjoy classical music, so he took a CD out of his luggage and gave it to me. This is definitely the coolest souvenir I’ve ever received! Ema told me that she works at the Berlin State Opera (Staatsoper Unter den Linden). It’s a shame I didn’t know her before I visited Berlin, otherwise I might have had the chance to see an opera there.
Although there has been a lot of rain in southern Taiwan these past few days, they still decided to visit Xiaoliuqiu today as planned. I hope they have a safe and wonderful trip there!
