三年前，我們帶著一個想法開始——能不能有一個空間，不論是商務旅行、返鄉探親，還是等待新家完工的日子，都能獲得安定，找到生活的平衡。

Three years ago, we started with a simple question —
Whether you’re in town for business, reconnecting with family, or waiting for renovations on your new home to be complete, can there be a temporary residence that provides all the essentials so that one can immediately settle in and feel safe and centered?

We imagined The Denizen as that space. Not just a place to stay, but a place to slow down, to breathe, and give you the freedom to simply be.

Over the past three years, we‘ve welcomed guests from all over the world and witnessed countless interpretations of one’s “home”. What we provide as an apartment with four walls can only be called a home because of those who have come along the way to reside and breathe life into it.

🧁 To mark the occasion, we’ve partnered with beloved local bakery to bring a touch of sweetness to our celebration. Each handcrafted cupcake is a small masterpiece—rich in flavor, designed with care, and a quiet reminder of the beauty in everyday things. Their philosophy reflects our own: that the soul of a space lives in the details, and in the integrity which created it.

Now, as we step into our next chapter, we’re dreaming up new possibilities—perhaps thoughtful upgrades to our spaces, perhaps unexpected surprises that bring simple joys in subtle ways.

Serviced Apartment Awards素有「業界奧斯卡」的美譽，是唯一專門針對服務式公寓、酒店式公寓、長期住宿和短期租賃業的獎項。目前邁入第九年，共分為十九個類別，由業界專家進行評選，評審團隊的專業背景橫跨各個領域，包含基準化分析、新聞、建築、設計、商務旅行和顧問等行業。能獲得業界專業人士的認可對我們來說是莫大的肯定。

Exciting News! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce The Denizen has been shortlisted for “Best Interior Design” in this year’s Serviced Apartment Awards 2024! 🎉✨

The Serviced Apartment Awards often referred to as the 'Oscars of the Industry' is the only awards dedicated to the serviced apartment, aparthotel, extended stay, and short-term rental industries. Now in its ninth year, this year’s awards feature 19 categories and are judged by an independent panel of experts who work across industry sectors including benchmarking, journalism, architecture and design, business travel, consultancy, and more. It is an honor to be recognized among such esteemed peers.

We are truly grateful for the recognition on the apartment’s design, such praise holds significant meaning for us as it is at the core of our vision to meticulously craft living spaces, demanding attention to detail with the singular intention of delivering the best living experience for our residents.

When designing the interiors, we always advocated from the perspective of our extended stay guests, drawing inspiration from both domestic and international design trends, and integrating elements from around the world. 今年端午節，我們精選了合作夥伴 --- 來自台東鹿野本土品牌「紅烏龍合作社」的紅烏龍茶餅，作為小禮物與每位住客分享，傳遞幸福! 😊

透過獨特的製茶技法將烏龍茶製程結合紅茶的發酵，與鹿野在地茶農合作，採摘「一心二葉」的茶葉，造就了紅烏龍的完美，使每款茶風味鮮明! 我們非常榮幸能有機會與紅烏龍合作社長期合作，並選用紅烏龍茶包作為所有客房內的標準備品。今天也希望可以透過一杯茶和一片餅乾帶大家到台東旅行，感受當地的好山好水!

As a local independent brand ourselves, we love to partner and support like-minded local businesses who share the same passion and commitment to product quality; such as the locally roasted coffee beans we ground and brew for our guests every day, our in room audio equipment and bath amenities to name a few. The stories behind these brands and their humble beginnings have deep roots in the local culture and pave the way for the world to see more of Taiwan.

For this year's Dragon Boat Festival, we had selected Tea Biscuits from our partners at the Red Oolong Tea Cooperative of Taitung Luye as a small gift for our residents, to spread love and happiness on this festive occasion!😊

By a unique technique of combining the traditional method of processing oolong tea with the fermenting of black tea, and through upholding the principle of handpicking by "one bud, two leaves" the local tea farmers of Luye have created the perfect red oolong tea with superior quality and distinct flavor! We are honored and proud to partner with Red Oolong Tea Coop as the supplier for our standard tea amenity in all our guestrooms. And today we hope that with a cup of tea and a piece of biscuit, our guests will have taken a taste through Taitung’s beautiful mountains and waters!
