民國六十八年開始建造香檳大飯店，並於七十一年開始營業，是當地頗有規模與歷史的一間飯店。在那年代是宜蘭最高的建築物，從高處觀看蘭陽平原發展，因此取英文冠軍的諧音為香檳。復古舞廳與設計，彷彿看得到過去年代的影子，也因為這樣老客人不斷的回流。乾淨衛生的SPA池與房間，更是飯店最高的品質要求宗旨。
