This photo dates back to around the 1980s,
and was likely taken from the *Taipei Commercial Building* where ** ** is now located.

In the foreground on the right, you can still see the train tracks and overpass of the old Taipei Main Station.
On the left, the Railway Department building—now a museum—was still being used as the headquarters of the Taiwan Railway Administration.
Taxis back then came in all kinds of colors—red, blue, yellow—unlike today, where they’re all standardized in yellow.

Standing by the lobby window of ** ** today,
and comparing the view with this old photo,
you can really feel the layers of time.

Some things in this historic downtown district have changed, some have stayed the same.
Through all the noise and turbulence of the times,
we hope we can still believe in human kindness—
and keep moving forward.

這張大約在1980年代，
可能從我們 #五月家北車館 所在的台北商業大樓拍攝的。

照片的右前方仍能看到當時臺北火車站的軌道和天橋，
左前方的鐵道部博物館當時仍作為臺灣鐵路管理局辦公使用，
計程車仍為紅色、藍色、黃色等各種塗裝，
不像現在已經統一為黃色塗裝。

站在現在的 #五月家北車館 大廳窗外、
在比對這張舊照片別有一番風味。

城中區的變與不變，
在時代變遷各種紛紛擾擾之中，
希望我們還能相信人類的善良，
繼續往前。
