Placed on the shores of a crater lake in a woodland teeming with birds and primates, this lodge is the most affordable way to experience the incredible forests of Kabarole.
Bushpig Fort Portal is ideally placed for visitors visiting Kibale National Park, but there’s lots more to do. As well as excellent hiking and walking, you can relax and watch a host of rare and exotic birds from the comfort of your veranda!
The staff will be happy to put you in touch with seasoned and affordable local tour guides, and they will also point out our resident hippo (and her baby) as well as the nest of the giant kingfisher. Then in the evening if you’d like a campfire or a barbecue, just ask!
