Birding Safari You’ll Never Forget

Nestled in the heart of western Uganda, Kibale Forest National Park is one of Africa’s premier birding destinations. With over 375 bird species, Kibale is home to the highest concentration of forest birds in Uganda , making it an unmissable stop on any Uganda birding safari.

The park is the only place in Uganda where you can find the rare Green-breasted Pitta — one of only two Pitta species in all of Africa. Four bird species found here exist in no other Ugandan national park: the Blue-headed Bee-eater, Nahan’s Francolin, Masked Apalis, and Cassin’s Spinetail.
