The house offers affordable furnished rooms to rent, with shared or en suite bathroom, on a short or long term basis. All accommodation is self catering, and preferential rates are offered for those staying more than 14 days. All bills, laundry and housekeeping is included, as well as compound maintenance, rubbish collection and gate services. And there are three friendly dogs on site to provide entertainment and security. We are not a hotel - we are just subletting rooms in the compound we love living in - but our aim is to create a relaxed and pleasant environment in which to spend your time in Kampala - whether it's for two weeks or six months. Makindye Hill House is perfect for those seeking short and long term accommodation south of the city centre. Makindye is close to Nsambya, Muyenga, Kansanga, Buziga and Bunga but Kololo/Nakasero are only 20-30 mins by boda. It is also very handy for accessing the Entebbe Road without having to deal with the mayhem of Clocktower/Queensway. Nearby, the Makindye Country Club offers great gym & swimming facilities and Coffee at Last is a good spot to hole up for a dose of caffeine and decent wifi.
