This year 2019 wiPolo Home and Guest House has seen more rains than ever. The rains came late in May rather than the usual end of March but it has kept falling until now.
There is a new construction coming up. The wiPolo Conference Hall with 150 chairs and tables. wiPolo Guest House wants to be the heart of Paimol Lai Township. Please come see it develop.

Only a month or so to go we are celebrating the centenary of the killing of Blessed Daudi Okelo and Jildo Irwa on account of their faith in Jesus.
We are donating money, human labour, artistic skills, literary resources, etc to testify to the holiness of the two catechists. Please come join us.

Our heritage at the wiPolo Martyrs' Shrine in Paimol. Our dances and songs are our encyclopedia. We keep the events in there.

The new drainable latrine 5 stances the fifth being for people with disabilities. Then in the back you have a urinal. The rest are pictures of the compound showing much improved maintenance. With so much rain you need to keep the grass low every day. We are raising flowers to plant all round. We want you to love this place when you next visit it. We will be happy to have your piece of advice the way we should make this place look nice.

The parched rock on which the Blessed Catechists Daudi and Jildo sat 100 years ago to teach the children of Paimol to pray to the Christian God. The parched roack called lela in Acholi language belonged to the paLamuku people. There are many such rocks around the Shrine this being the largest. To the South of the Guest house there is "lela pany" and to the north there is found "lela acuga". In Acholi lela are used to dry harvests, pound and grind food stuffs. It is also place of recreation where people sit to play games of 8x4 holes into which you put 2 pebbles to start the game that goes round.

Beautifying the wiPolo Shrine Guest House surrounding. This splendid evening sun rays lit the sky and the open air altar marvelously. Today"s morning sun was bright and scorching. You loved to work under it until 11am. When on the tractor you got the.much needed protection.
