Home of Friends is a convenient mid-range accommodation, just outside Kapchorwa Town, located on the flanks of Mount Elgon (2.000m. altitude). With its panoramic views and leisure opportunities such as hiking and mountain biking, it is a perfect getaway from the hectic city life. The amazing Sipi Falls are located only 20 min. from the Guesthouse. Home of Friends offers healthy and affordable meals, a tasty mix of Ugandan and Western food.
Hosts are Daan & Eliza, who are passionate about the cultural and natural beauty of Kapchorwa/Sipi Falls region and do everything they can to let you have an unforgettable stay.
About the rooms
Our four double rooms have sizeable beds, a good mattress, a toilet and warm solar shower inside. On top of that, we have a self-contained triple room and two standard twin rooms + a double room with a shared bathroom. The Guesthouse is situated at a spacious compound with a secured fence. From the veranda you enjoy the spectacular views over the Karamoja lowlands. In our room price breakfast is included. During your stay Daan & Eliza help you get connected to sportive and interactive Community activities (see below).
