A Proud Moment for Gorilla Leisure Lodge!

Yesterday (Monday) was one of those moments that made us pause and appreciate how far Gorilla Leisure Lodge has come.

We were deeply honoured to host Rt. Hon. Tomio Okamura, Speaker of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, who stayed with us during his visit to Rushaga. He was later joined at the lodge by Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda.

For a lodge like ours, moments like this mean more than having distinguished guests through our doors. They are a quiet reminder that the work we are doing is being noticed, and that Gorilla Leisure Lodge is becoming part of the story of tourism in Rushaga.

We feel genuinely privileged to have been chosen to host such an important visit among the many places they could have stayed.

It makes us proud. It makes us grateful. And most importantly, it makes us feel that we are making an impact.
