Unfortunately, it is DOWN and needs to be repaired, and because of the holiday weekend, we can’t get anyone out here to fix it until Tuesday.

We don’t want anyone showing up ready for a good time only to realize the ATM isn’t cooperating.

Where did the time go?!

For 50 years, John’s River Lodge has been a place for good times, great friends, cold drinks, unforgettable stories and more memories than we could ever count.

And now it’s time to celebrate. ❤️

This Labor Day, we’re not only celebrating 50 YEARS of John’s River Lodge — we’re also celebrating an epic 62nd birthday for the man himself, JEFF KUNI! 🎂🤘

This bar we call home wouldn’t be here today without all the years of hard work, dedication and love that Jeff and his family have poured into it — and it certainly wouldn’t be the same without all of YOU who have walked through these doors over the years.

Whether you’ve been coming here for decades or you’ve only recently found your way to us, you’re part of the story.

So please join us for one very special evening as we raise a glass to 50 YEARS of John’s River Lodge and 62 YEARS of Jeff Kuni!

THE LAST CAST

A River County Murder Mystery

Difficulty: ★★★★☆
Estimated Solve Time: 60–90 minutes
Location: River County, Washington

The Story

It’s the morning of the annual River County Salmon Derby, and dozens of boats have hit the water before sunrise.

The tournament has a $5,000 grand prize for the heaviest salmon, along with plenty of bragging rights.

Local fisherman Wade “Lucky” Mercer has been talking all week about the monster fish he’s going to bring in.

And somehow… he does.

At 2:16 PM, Wade arrives back at the dock with what appears to be the winning salmon.

The fish weighs in at 31.8 pounds, putting Wade comfortably in first place.

But the celebration doesn’t last long.

At 2:41 PM, Wade walks toward the marina parking area after receiving a mysterious text.

At 3:02 PM, another fisherman discovers Wade dead near the boat-launch storage sheds.

His wallet is untouched.

His truck keys are still in his pocket.

His fishing gear is still aboard his boat.

But something is missing.

The winning salmon.

We also want to thank all of the other clubs, riders, friends, and supporters who showed up and came together for such an amazing cause — supporting the college kids of Grays Harbor. 🎓❤️

The turnout was amazing, the bar was packed, and it was awesome seeing so many people come together to support our local community.
