NIGHTLY FEE UPDATE! 💲💵

I wanted to inform everyone our furnished finder booking app should be working correctly for short term rentals. However our Airbnb booking on the guest side is not right. I am having to try and get this fixed with them because our host site shows the nightly rates to be correct, but the guest side booking side is showing it to be like double the cost. So if you are interested in booking please message us to reserve a date and do not book through our Airbnb link at this time. We are working on trying to fix this issue this next week and hope it will be resolved quickly. 🙏

✨ THE COTTAGE IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! ✨

After months of painting, building, decorating, changing our minds, making things, hunting down the perfect little details and bringing one crazy idea after another to life… Mossy Hollow is officially ready for guests. 💚🍄

What started as a little cottage has turned into our own tiny storybook world — complete with a trip to Far Far Away, Coffee & Elixirs, hidden Shrek details, cozy places to curl up, a little bit of swamp magic and SO many things we made by hand.

We wanted Mossy Hollow to be more than somewhere to sleep. We wanted it to be somewhere families laugh, kids explore, couples get away, and people walk through the door and immediately start noticing all the little things.

And today… we finally get to show you the finished cottage. 🥹

Our doors are officially OPEN. 🔑

Setting the dining table today and I’m OBSESSED with how all these little details are coming together. 🥹

The dark faux-alligator textured tablecloth, our Shrek-inspired candelabra, a little moss, mushrooms & of course a tiny frog keeping watch. 🐸🕯️

I wanted every corner of Mossy Hollow to feel like you stepped into a storybook — a little whimsical, a little swampy, a little old-world fairytale… and definitely not like your average vacation rental. ✨

And that book wall in the background might forever be one of my favorite things we created. 📖🌿📚

I think this might be one of my favorite pieces I’ve had personalized and made for Mossy Hollow so far. 🥹🌿🍄

“Once upon a time… in a kingdom far, far away, lived a courageous knight named Sir Shrek.” 🤎

I’ve really tried to make Mossy Hollow feel inspired by the movies with things tucked away throughout, but a cozy little whimsical storybook cottage.

✨ A little Mossy Hollow update… we made it. 🌿🏡 🤗

After what feels like a million projects, late nights, trips back and forth, paint cans, power tools, second guesses and “just one more thing”… Mossy Hollow is officially opening its doors to our very first guest THIS WEEKEND. 🤎

We are already booked through mid-November. 🥹

We seriously could not have gotten here without our parents. Thank you for watching the kids, jumping in to help us work on the house, and being there through all the chaos it took to turn this little place into what it is today. There were so many times we needed an extra set of hands or someone to keep the kids while we tried to finish “one more project,” and you showed up every time. We couldn’t have done this without you. ❤️

And the crazy part is… this is only the beginning.

I already have so many dreams for Mossy Hollow over the next 2–3 years — hopefully adding onto the cottage, creating new outdoor experiences, adding more little storybook surprises and continuing to turn this property into a place that feels like you stepped away from real life for a little while. ✨🍄🌿

It won’t all happen overnight. There are still finishing touches to do, things I want to change, and about a hundred ideas living in my head 😂… but for now, it’s time to stop renovating long enough to actually let someone come enjoy it.

So here’s to our first guest, our first fully booked fall, and the beginning of a whole new chapter for our little Mossy Hollow Cottage. 🏡✨

The magic is just getting started. 🤎🍄🌿
