Well folks, yesterday we almost did it! We won runner up at Smoke on the Piney!! We all had a blast, put in some hard work, and met some amazing people (and some tough competition!) We thank the Piney River Volunteer Fire Department for another amazing year!

Walkin' The Hog will be at the Smoke on the Piney BBQ Competition on Saturday 12 September. We look to repeat last year's win in the rib division and maybe place in the pulled pork class.

We’re out at the Nelson County Sheriffs Office First Annual Chili Cook Off at Drumhellers Orchard in Lovingston!

First and foremost, we want to extend a sincere thank you to the Lovingston Volunteer Fire Department Co. 1 for originally partnering with us to host this event. We are always proud to work alongside them and remain incredibly grateful for their continued support of community initiatives like this one.

Thanks to the overwhelming interest and participation we’re seeing, we are anticipating more attendees and competitors than the original venue can comfortably accommodate — which is fantastic news for our community and for Special Olympics Virginia.

With that in mind, we are excited to announce that Drumheller's Orchard has graciously welcomed us to utilize their space to ensure we can safely and comfortably host everyone.
