Today I made Merlot, Rosemary, and Fig Sauce to use on soft cheeses for hors d'oeuvres. I used lots of fresh rosemary simmered in Sterling Vintners Merlot with figs picked this morning. The alcohol burns away leaving the richness of the wine flavor. The kitchen smelled heavenly!
