AND JUST LIKE THAT… ANOTHER CAMPING SEASON HAS COME TO AN END!
As we close out another incredible season at Pete’s, we can’t help but reflect on how incredibly blessed we are.
TEN SEASONS OF OWNERSHIP, AND OUR HEARTS ARE FULL!
When we first started this journey, we never could have imagined just how much this campground and the people who fill it each summer, would come to mean to us.

Thank you for choosing Pete’s as your home away from home or your weekend vacation destination. We know there are plenty of campgrounds to choose from, and the fact that you choose to spend your summers and weekends with US is something we will never take for granted.
Over the years, so many of you have become much more than campers. You’ve become our friends, our extended family, and such a special part of our lives.
We’ve watched your kids grow up year after year, celebrated milestones with you, shared countless laughs, enjoyed campfires, made unforgettable memories, and built friendships that extend far beyond the camping season.
Some of you have been camping with us since the beginning, while others are just starting your journey with us. No matter how long you’ve been part of Pete’s Retreat, we hope you know how much you mean to us.
You are the HEART of this campground.
Seeing families come together, kids running around making lifelong friendships, neighbors looking out for one another, and everyone enjoying the little moments is exactly why we love what we do.
You have helped create a campground community that we are SO incredibly proud of. And for that, we can’t thank you enough!

Thank you for showing up, working hard, putting up with our crazy busy summers, going above and beyond, and caring about this campground as much as we do.
Whether you’re keeping the grounds looking beautiful, helping campers, working in the lodge, preparing for events, or handling the million little things that happen behind the scenes, please know that your hard work NEVER goes unnoticed.
We couldn’t do what we do without you, and we certainly wouldn’t want to!

Owning a campground isn’t always easy. There are long days, late nights, endless projects, and plenty of behind-the-scenes work that most people never see.
But then we look around and see all of YOU.
The friendships. The laughter. The packed activities. The smiling kids. The golf cart rides. The campfires. The memories.
And we’re reminded exactly why we do it.
We don’t want to be just another campground. We want Pete’s to be a place where you feel welcomed, appreciated, and part of something special.
Because you’re not just supporting our business. You’re supporting our family and a dream that means the world to us.
As we wrap up our 10th season of ownership, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey. Whether you’ve been here for all ten seasons, joined us this year, worked alongside us, or camp with us on the weekends, THANK YOU for being part of our story.
We hope we’ve given you as many wonderful memories as you’ve given us.
And while we’re definitely looking forward to a little downtime to spend time with our family, you can bet we’ll be busy behind the scenes getting ready to make NEXT season even better!
