Moore Springs Resort & RV Park We have 10 Housekeeping Cabins and 22 Full Service Campsites on a 14 acre site on crystal clear spring fed Howard Lake in Akeley, Minnesota.

It is a perfect place for families who want to enjoy the great northwoods. The fishing on Howard Lake is fantastic. Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappies and Sunfish are in abundance. Moore Springs Resort borders the Chippewa National Forest for great hunting.

Just starting to get in to Cabin 8. The bathroom and kitchen will be updated a bit with new flooring. New flooring will be delayed until it warms up in like April. lol. You can’t do everything you want but you can get most of it done. Stay Warm!!!

We’ve been busy making up-grades to Cabins this fall/early winter. Cabins 2, 3, 6 and 8 are getting the attention in this time frame. Here, in cabin 2’s bedroom, the white paneling is gone and now the room is complete. I will be posting more on the other cabins in the next few days! Everything is going well and looking awesome. The snow and the cold sure slow things down but we are making a lot of progress!

New Moore Fun Springs Attraction…Coming to the old, rope swing area This Summer!!! A 12’ water trampoline. A little more bounce than the bouncer at the playground beach. Will hold up to 4 kids at a time. We’ve been impressed so far with Rave products and our guests are pretty good with them.
